Thank you for sharing your story. And thank...Robin,
Thank you for sharing your story. And thank you for your hysterectomy consequences website. Hopefully it has and will continue to save women from having their sex organ(s) removed. As a victim of the hysterectomy industry, I'm very outspoken about its overuse/abuse and the consequences. But I find it difficult to convince women that a surgery that's so common is so damaging. And I've found that far too many women put too much trust in their doctors. It doesn't help that we oftentimes have a close relationship with these gynecologists as they've seen us through pregnancies and deliveries and sometimes even infertility treatments. And then there are the cancer scare tactics they use to "bully" us into "consent." In any other industry, these tactics would be viewed as fraudulent and subject to criminal charges. Even though ACOG has determined that 76% of hysterectomies don't meet their criteria for the surgery, they aren't doing anything to change that.

We need to continue to speak out and get better media coverage on this health issue that has far-reaching family and societal implications. It can do you more harm than good." He was one of the first doctors to warn women of the many adverse consequences of hysterectomy, and especially, ovary removal. You can contact him through his web site at www.repmed.com I feel sure he'd love to hear from you Dr. Aranda! I just got an email from a lady in Australia, because a woman had her ovary taken out without permission. People everywhere are having trouble making the doctors liable for taking out ovaries when there was no permission to do so. I will put you on my List of Resources for girls and Women, and that is just a start. You just keep on being the beautiful woman that you are, and together we will make a dent. I promise I will not stop until I see change. That is what we need: Change. I think this is so im...Yes, that sounds good to me. I think this is so important! We're talking about over half a million women in the U.S. undergoing hysterectomy each year... That's huge! As a society, I believe we've been way too silent for way too long about this surgery and also about the life-long purpose of women's female organs beyond childbearing. God created woman by putting a 'womb' in her. In my opinion, the importance of the womb can't be overstated. Sadly, women are taught to believe that their wombs are useless bleeding organs necessary only for the purpose of carrying a child. Nothing could be further from the truth... I think a list of resources for both girls and women is such a great idea! I so appreciate you taking an interest in women's health and in this particular important issue. Thank you for starting a real discussion here. I'm wondering if you could be so kind as to field questions and concerns about undergoing a hysterectomy. I would like to include you on the List I am compiling, with the Reference being 'Contemplating or Having a Hysterectomy". Does that sound good to you? I look forward to your perspective and insight on the matter.
