BIBLE STUDY FOR THE DISABLED: MORE OF HIM, LESS OF ME

If you do not wish for us to pray for you, then it is better to either 1) expect to be invited anyway (I have a brain injury and I can't remember) or 2) "unfriend" me. Thank you, and know that we care.

FIRST ONLINE MINISTRY FOR DISABLED:

HE MUST INCREASE, BUT I MUST DECREASE

Thursday, June 4, 2015

WELCOME:  We lift our hands in the air, toward God and Christ Our Lord in Heaven, to be grateful for another day, and another privilege to hear the living, breathing Word of God! Amen! We will finish Chapter 3 of the Book of John today by using the NASB. Isn’t it lovely to see how we have been moving along and learning? We will sing, read Scriptures, take Holy Communion, take care of our orphans and widows, and take Prayer Requests so that God’s Word and Christ’s body and blood may cleanse our hearts and our bodies to live more fervently for Him! For He is Holy!

SCRIPTURE:  John 3: 22 - 36

22 "After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He was spending time with them and baptizing.

23 John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there; and people were coming and were being baptized—

24 for John had not yet been thrown into prison.

25 Therefore there arose a discussion on the part of John’s disciples with a Jew about purification.

26 And they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, He is baptizing and all are coming to Him.”

27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.

28 You yourselves are my witnesses that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent ahead of Him.’

29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.

30 He must increase, but I must decrease."

31 “He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

32 What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.

33 He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true.

34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.

35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.

36 He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

DISCUSSION: Please get your bread and wine ready to take Holy Communion after the Service Discussion. We have a You Tube video on (1) The Reasons Why Christ Asked us to do Holy Communion,

You Tube Video by Dr. Aranda. Published on May 24, 2015.
This video discusses: (1) THE PLAN FOR SALVATION and being "BORN AGAIN"; (2) HOLY COMMUNION; (3) THE POWER OF PRAISE, NOT JUST PRAYER, and gives the listener rejuvenating music and song that matches up to the message, clearly showing how we can live "on fire" for God, seek His Face, and (3) look forward to death not as "THE END" in a grave, but as THE BEGINNING in eternal joy and worship as the Bride of Christ. What will you do when you see Christ in Heaven? Will you kneel? Stand? Be speechless? OR WILL YOU SING HIS PRAISES FOR ALL ETERNITY?

and (2) Specific Steps to take for Taking Holy Communion in a worthy manner, so that you do not judge yourself adversely before God.  Christ said that you must be born again to enter heaven eternally, and have forgiveness in your heart.

You Tube Video. This goes through the Bible, step-by-step, the verses that Christ Himself spoke at the Last Supper concerning Holy Communion and the taking of the body and blood of Christ. In particular for those of us that have an illness, listen to the lack of taking Holy Communion as an explanation given for those who are weak, sick, or sleep (die). Would we all get better if we took Holy Communion every day?

SERVICE:  “HE MUST INCREASE, BUT I MUST DECREASE”
(John 3: 30)

FORGIVENESS & SALVATION TO BE BORN AGAIN: If you’ve never been Born Again, you need to listen with great care. How many of us have invited a Guest to this Service,  that is not Born Again? The Great Commission that Jesus gave us is to spread the gospel to all the ends of the earth. It starts with Me and You ~ “Christ must Increase, but We must Decrease.” You can imagine what that means, but I’m going to spell it out for you so that we all know how to save a soul  the Plan of Christ. We are also going to sharpen our Sword of the Spirit, which is double-edged, and IS the Word of God.

What Scripture says, “He must increase, but I must decrease”?

John 3:30.

I want you to memorize this verse and keep it in your head all week. Live it, speak it, breathe it, and see how your actions change when you let Christ run your life. And in order to lead others to Christ, let’s see how many verses you know, that belong with the Plan of Salvation.

To be “born again,” please note the PLAN OF SALVATION:
1.                All have sinned.
2.
3.                (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8)
4.
5.                There is a penalty for sin
6.
7.                (Romans 6:23; John 3:18)
8.
9.                You cannot save yourself
10.
11.                  (Titus 3:5; James 2:10)
12.
13.                  Salvation has been provided
14.
15.                   (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 5:8)
16.
17.                  The conditions are simple:
18.                  A. Repent
19.
20.                  (Luke 13:3);
21.
22.                  B Confess
23.
24.                   (1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9);
25.
26.                  C. Believe
27.
28.                  (Acts 16:31)
29.
30.                  Now is your time for a Decision
31.
32.                  (Joshua 24:15; 2 Corinth 6:2)

Do you repent for your sins?
Do you confess your sins to the Lord?
Do you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, into your heart?

If you answered “yes” to all these questions, you are now a Born Again Christian! We love you! Welcome to the body of Christ! Confess it with your mouth, or write it here! You must say it out loud! Praise the Lord!

We do not come to you, Father and ask You for something if we harbor resentment, jealousy, anger, hatred, or bitterness against our brother, our sister, or our enemies. We ask You, Lord to release us of all bitterness, and to change our hearts so they are softened by forgiveness.  Forgive us of our sins, known and unknown. Help us to show love to our enemies. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

Now we humbly ask these prayers of you, knowing that we do not just come to you when we want something. We have an ongoing relationship with you, and we pray to you, give you glory, and listen to your still, small voice. We are ready to take Holy Communion in Remembrance of your death, dear Jesus.

HOLY COMMUNION:

THE TAKING OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS:

Let us gain a perspective on the taking of the bread and wine we take, in Remembrance of Jesus Christ, as He Himself asked us to do. Ask for forgiveness of your sins first.

TAKING OF THE BODY: Please forgive us of all our sins, known and unknown. We take this bread, which represents the body of Christ,  and eat it. Let it circulate through our bodies as a remembrance of Christ’s death for our sins (Hold in hand and do not eat yet).

TAKING OF THE BLOOD: We take this blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant, that it may be spread to all men and women, so that sins may be forgiven. This we do in remembrance of Christ. (Hold in hand and do not drink yet).

EAT THE BODY. Think of Christ’s death for your sins. For my sins. DRINK THE BLOOD: Let every drop mix with your blood, renewing and rejuvenating all the circulation, healing all that it hits. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins.

PRAISE BE TO THE LAMB OF GOD. You may kneel, sit, or lie in silence to absorb this great transition, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting with Christ in Heaven.  Be renewed, knowing that God cares for you every day, and you are never alone.

Once you are done praying, please play this song, and read along.

DONATIONS: We are still raising funds to purchase land for an orphanage in Uganda. Christ also taught us to care for the widows, and that is something I feel called to do. Bless our efforts, Lord, and multiply them so that more souls can be saved for eternity. Last weeks donations were $0.00.

PRAYER REQUEST: That all who are  reading/listening bear witness to the Word of God and start to learn how to save a soul for Christ.

PRAYER REQUEST: That all those with invisible illnesses, pain, amputations, disfigurements, and those with medical devices like wheelchairs may one day toss them aside because of your great miracles, dear Lord!

PRAYER REQUEST: For those with spoken and unspoken needs: Noah Moretears, Kirstie Sweetie, Hope for Tamzin, Nadine Horn, Trisha Shultz, Nifenjer Lopwel, Lakewolf Nightcrow, Totonja Jackson, Briana Baca, Robin Karr, Amy Coleman, Courtney, Lin Miyajama, and all who are in need of physical healing in their bodies, we pray to the Lord.

PRAISE REPORTS: That people are coming to know Christ, learning and yearning to know Him, and that new souls are being saved for Eternity.

SPECIAL CLOSING PRAYER by Kirstie: Dear Lord, we pray as we gather together in Your Name, for all the sick and poor. We offer special prayers for parents who are lacking necessities for their children. Help us to help them. You know we have a special calling to help the orphans and widows at Hope & Joy Ministries in Kampala, Uganda, with Pastor Steven Mwesigwa. Help us to not only meet their needs, but to fill their cup so that it is overflowing with your blessings.

HELP ME TO:
1.    DREAM BIG.
2.    SERVE OTHERS.
3.    GIVE MY LIFE TO CHRIST ALONE.
            In Jesus’ name, Amen.

CLOSING SONGS:

1.  Dream Big
By Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand

2. “Holy, Holy, Holy
By Gary Oliver

(Stop at end of song)

2. “In Christ Alone”
By Passion 2013 and Kristian Stanfill

DISMISSAL: Go, and scatter yourselves throughout the ends of the earth, in America, the UK, Uganda, Pakistan, India, Chile, and multiply our efforts by letting Christ become big in you, as you become little to yourself. That is the sacrifice we owe Him, as He, the King of Kings, did the same to us. You are dismissed.

If you would like to stay and ‘officially’ speak your words to be Born Again, please do so. If you have additional questions or requests, I will be here for you. Otherwise, Go and Please God. He is watching you.  Give yourself to Him as a living sacrifice, out of your own free will. Praise Him as He gives, and Praise Him as He takes away. Nothing makes Him happier than your steadfastness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you would like to stay, we seek God’s face in earnest, singing:

Show me Your Glory

Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.
