WHO TOLD YOU TO TAKE YOUR EYES
OFF OF JESUS
AND LOOK AT THE STORM?
WELCOME: Today,
we talk about our problems. But we put them in perspective of where they
belong: they are part of THE STORM. We will see that as Peter walked on the
water to Jesus in the storm, he took his eyes OFF of JESUS and then what
happened?
HE STARTED SINKING.
Who told Peter to take his
eyes OFF of JESUS and look into the
crashing waves, the lightening, the wind, and the rain? WHO TOLD PETER TO TAKE
HIS EYES OFF OF JESUS?
NO ONE.
We
will take Holy Communion today, in Remembrance of Christ's death for our sins.
Please have unleavened bread or regular bread or tortillas ready; please also
have red wine, red grape juice, or water ready. (My two videos on YT go over the concept of Holy Communion, and the particulars of Holy Communion)
You
may gather it now and have it at your table or bedside, as we will ALL PARTAKE
TOGETHER as we meet together IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIM. Praise to you, Lord Jesus!
We gather from all over the world! Amen!
(Please do not thank me for this Service, for I am but a messenger, sent
by God. My prayer is that you see God in what I am saying. My prayer is that
you look at God, and not at MAN or WOMAN as YOUR example of a Christian. Keep your eyes on Christ.)
If you do that, you will be
disappointed every time. KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS. EVERYTHING ELSE IS A DISTRACTION,
Christians. EVERYTHING ELSE IS A DISTRACTION.

PRAYER REQUESTS: We
pray for Amy Coleman, Bob Coleman-Long, Noah Moretears, Kirstie, Helen Waltz,
Larry Cooper, Steven Mwesigwa and the orphans and widows, Kirstie’s family, and
for all those who have stated or unstated needs of the mind, body, or soul. Let us remain in Your
perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
PRAISE REPORTS: Thank you for helping Pastor Mwesigwa,
as they have raised funds but a miracle
has happened: they have ONE MORE WEEK before the $5k is due. Thank you for VP Shunts placed correctly, surgeries gone well. Please reach into
your hearts and your pockets to help build this orphanage, which includes a
church, rooming for Widows, a school, and a dormitory for the children. God
Bless us All so that we may bless the Hope & Joy Ministries.
SCRIPTURE: PETER IN THE SINKING WATER DURING THE STORM
Matthew
14: 29-33
29:
And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and
came toward Jesus.
30: But seeing the wind, he became afraid, and
beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
31. And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand
and took hold of him, and said to him, “Oh you of little faith, why did you
doubt?”
32.
And when they got into the boat, the wind stopped.
33.
And those who were in the boat worshipped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s
Son!”
DISCUSSION:
You have troubles. We all have troubles. Where does your
help come from? Your job? Your paycheck? Your doctor? Your grocery store?
Or does YOUR HELP COME FROM YOUR MAKER of the Heavens and
the Earth? Your Father who never leaves you? Do you turn to Him? Do you talk to Him?
PRAISE HIM and THANK HIM in all things, through the storms
of life. Don’t look at the clouds. Don’t look at the rain or the waves or the
lightening when Christ is right in front of you.
Who told you to take your eyes off of Christ when HE is
standing right IN PERSON, right IN FRONT of you? When you are LOOKING INTO HIS
EYES, those beautiful eyes, how can you take your eyes off of them?
Distractions.
Remember that it’s all a distraction. All the storms, the
trials, the tribulations, the suffering, the pain, the financial troubles, the
hunger: they are all a DISTRACTION.
The Lord still catches you when you are falling. He is still
with you, and His voice can calm the sea. Not because of who we are, mere
humans who live but a pinprick in the line of Eternity, but because of.....WHO
HE IS.
HE GIVES AND HE TAKES AWAY.
He has suffered and died on the cross for YOU and for me. He hears you
when you pray. So learn to keep your
eyes on Him through the storm. Stay “HIS.” Do not waver in your faithful friend
and Maker.
When you feel the pain, say, “PRAISE YOU, LORD!” “THANK YOU
FOR YOUR LOVE, JESUS”, “I BELONG TO YOU, DEAR GOD,” “I GLORIFY YOUR HOLY NAME,
MY LORD AND SAVIOUR.”
HOLY
COMMUNION:
Let us take Holy Communion together, after saying the Our Father,
as Jesus told us to pray. The Our
Father has every prayer in it, that needs to be said before Communion:
Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
As we
forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory.
Forevermore. Amen.
As we partake in
Communion, please watch this video first. It is imperative. Please follow these instructions:

CLOSING PRAYER from Kirstie: Dear Lord, bow our heads and put our hands

all the children, men, women and elderly all over the world. Help us live to
bring more souls to you!

FORGIVENESS & SALVATION TO BE BORN AGAIN:
To be “born again,” please note the PLAN
OF SALVATION:
1. All
have sinned. (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8)
2. There
is a penalty for sin (Romans 6:23; John 3:18)
3. You
cannot save yourself (Titus 3:5; James 2:10)
4. Salvation
has been provided (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; John 14:6)
5. The
conditions are simple: A. Repent (Luke
13:3); B Confess (1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9); C. Believe (Acts 16:31)
6. Now
is your time for a Decision (Joshua 24:15; 2 Corinth 6:2)
Do you repent for your sins?
Do you confess your sins to the Lord?
Do you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as the
Son of God, into your heart?
If you answered “yeS” to all these
questions, you are now a Born Again Christian! We love you! Welcome to the body
of Christ! Confess it with your mouth, or write it here! You must say it out
loud! Praise the Lord!
This is the Word of Jesus Christ at the Last Supper:
THE TAKING OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS:
Let us gain a perspective on the taking of
the bread and wine we take, in Remembrance of Jesus Christ, as He Himself asked
us to do. Ask for forgiveness of your sins first.
TAKING OF THE BODY: Please forgive us of
all our sins, known and unknown. We take this bread, which represents the body
of Christ, and eat it. Let it circulate
through our bodies as a remembrance of Christ’s death for our sins. (Hold in
hand and do not eat yet)
TAKING OF THE BLOOD: We take this blood,
the blood of the new and everlasting covenant, that it may be spread to all men
and women, so that sins may be forgiven. This we do in remembrance of Christ.
EAT THE BODY. Think of Christ’s suffering
and death for your sins. For my sins. PRAISE BE TO THE LAMB. DRINK THE BLOOD:
Let every drop mix with your blood, renewing and rejuvenating all the
circulation, healing all that it hits. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins.
PRAISE BE TO THE LAMB OF GOD. You may kneel, sit, or lie in silence to absorb
this great transition, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting with
Christ in Heaven.
