THE ONLINE PRAISE & WORSHIP FOR THE DISABLED:
Sunday, June 7, 2015
WELCOME to our non-denominational ministry; today we use the New American Standard version of the Bible. Today, we talk about money. I don’t know any person that does not need to talk about money. They may not WANT to talk about money, but the Bible addresses it several times, and I want to tell you what GOD has to say about money. Here are several Scriptures before our Opening Songs:
1. “Psalm 123”; “Our Eyes
Look to the Lord”
By Mike Remington
2. “All that I Have”
By Esther Mui
3. “Here I am to Worship”
By Tim Hughes
SERMON & SCRIPTURES:
For my general You Tube video on Christ’s Holy Communion see: https://youtu.be/cGExxw8gzdk
What is money? What is money supposed to be to a Christian? How are we to view it? The same as the pagans, or differently? We do everything else differently, so I would expect that how we handle our money should be different that before we were Born Again. Let us read what the Bible has to say about money:
INFORMATION ON HOLY COMMUNION: We will take Holy Communion at every service, in Remembrance of Christ's death for our sins. Please have unleavened bread or regular bread or tortillas ready; please also have red wine, red grape juice, or water ready.
For my general You Tube video on Christ’s Holy Communion see: https://youtu.be/cGExxw8gzdk
For a You Tube video that goes through Holy Communion Scripture by Scripture and in detail, see: https://youtu.be/RIW44PDgM6w You may gather bread (matza, bread, tortillas, etc.) and wine (red wine, red grapejuice, water, or any liquid) now and have it at your table or bedside, as we will ALL PARTAKE TOGETHER as we meet together IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIM. Amen!
What is money? What is money supposed to be to a Christian? How are we to view it? The same as the pagans, or differently? We do everything else differently, so I would expect that how we handle our money should be different that before we were Born Again. Let us read what the Bible has to say about money:
1 Timothy 6:10 “For the love
of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have
erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
2 Corinth: 9:7 “Every man
according as he proposeth in his heart (so let him give); not grudgingly, or of
necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
Matthew 5:42: “Give to the
one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from
you.”
And let us listen to the song, “All that I have” once again, my Esther Mui, in light of the additional Scripture she took it from. See how the words to this song really apply to you:
2 Timothy 2:20-21: “But in a
great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and
of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself
from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet to the
master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”
When we talk about “tithing” to God, it means “giving back” to God that which is His. There are 32 references in the KJB on tithing and no, we are not going to go through all of them today. As we finish the Book of John Chapter 4, however, we can switch topics and learn more about the “titie” for it is important every day of our lives.
Genesis 14:20 : And blessed
be the most high God, which hath delivered thing enemies into thy hand. And he
gave him TITHES of all.
Malachi 3:8-10 (Full Chapter) Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In TITHES and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have Robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the TITHEs into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Leviticus 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.
Leviticus 27:31 And
if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add
thereto the fifth part thereof.
Leviticus 27:32 And
concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of
whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.
Numbers 18:24 But
the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave
offering unto the Lord, I
have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among
the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.
Numbers 18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the Lord, even a tenth part of the tithe.
Deuteronomy
26:12 When
thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase
the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the
Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within
thy gates, and be filled;
2 Chronicles
31:5 And
as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in
abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase
of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in
abundantly.
There are more verses in the
Old Testament, but I can hear your thoughts: What does God have to say in the
New Testament? This:
Matthew 23:23 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of
mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law,
judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the
other undone.
Luke 11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Luke 18:12I I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
So is there any doubt in your mind that we need to give the Lord our God 10% of what we make, in order to show him our grace and thanks? And in return, our God will continue to multiply our production of goods, our ‘cream of the crop’ so to speak, and we will not be accused of robbing God?
For how can we love our neighbor, and keep all of God’s commandments to Love One Another and omit this Command from His desires? Why should we deny that everything we have it his? Lord, let your Word sink into our hearts and souls, and may we become better Christians to tithe 10% of our income.
I ask that it goes not to me, but to Pastor Steven Meswigwa in Kampala, Uganda, and his group of over 30 orphans. Contact him by Facebook, and send by MoneyGram or Western Union. Bless them Lord, and give them the hope and the signs that they need to know that they are not in this world alone. Give the poor children hope and a meal. Help us to dry their tears.
Before we partake in Holy Communion, we assure
that we are Born
Again, and that we harbor no ill feelings towards another: I myself learned the insight that the Communion IS Holy,
requires forgiveness of our sins, and is held against us in judgement if we
take it when we are not supposed to. But first, you must be Born Again: FORGIVENESS & SALVATION TO BE BORN AGAIN: To be “born again,” please note the PLAN
OF SALVATION:
1. All have sinned. (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8);
2. There is a penalty for sin (Romans 6:23; John 3:18);
3. You
cannot save yourself (Titus 3:5; James 2:10);
4. Salvation
has been provided (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; John 14:6);
5. The
conditions are simple:
A. Repent (Luke 13:3);
B Confess (1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9);
C. Believe (Acts 16:31)
6. Now
is your time for a Decision (Joshua 24:15; 2 Corinth 6:2):Do you repent for your sins?
Do you confess your sins to the Lord?
Do you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as the
Son of God, into your heart?
If you answered “yes” to all these questions, you are now a Born Again Christian! We love you! Welcome to the body of Christ! Confess it with your mouth, or write it here! You must say it out loud! Praise the Lord!
AS CHRIST TAUGHT US TO PRAY:Let us take Holy Communion together, after saying the Our Father, as Jesus told us to pray. The Our Father has every prayer in it that needs to be said before Communion:
THE OUR FATHER
Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory.
Forever and ever. Amen.
THE TAKING OF THE BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS:
Let us gain a perspective on the taking of
the bread and wine we take, in Remembrance of Jesus Christ, as He Himself asked
us to do. Ask for forgiveness of your sins first.
TAKING OF THE BODY: Please forgive us of
all our sins, known and unknown. We take this bread, which represents the body
of Christ, and eat it. Let it circulate
through our bodies as a remembrance of Christ’s death for our sins. (Hold in
hand and do not eat yet.)
TAKING OF THE BLOOD: We take this blood,
the blood of the new and everlasting covenant, that it may be spread to all men
and women, so that sins may be forgiven. This we do in remembrance of Christ. (Do not drink yet.)
EAT THE BODY. Think of Christ’s suffering
and death for your sins. For my sins. PRAISE BE TO THE LAMB. DRINK THE BLOOD:
Let every drop mix with your blood, renewing and rejuvenating all the
circulation, healing all that it hits. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins.
PRAISE BE TO THE LAMB OF GOD. You may kneel, sit, or lie in silence to absorb
this great transition, the forgiveness of sins, and life everlasting with
Christ in Heaven.
COMMUNION SONGS: After Holy Communion, take some time to meditate on Christ's death, as He instructed. Think of how worthy you are, that He died for you. It was not just a standard "death," but a cruel, prolonged, agonizing death of humiliation on the Cross. He did this because He loves you, and He wants you to remember His death and His Love and His opening of Eternity, which all go together.

CLOSING PRAYER from Kirstie: Dear Lord, bow our heads and put our hands together today for all our sick family and the children in Africa. We pray for all the children, men, women and elderly all over the world. Help us live to bring more souls to you! In Jesus’ name we pray Amen!
DISMISSAL: You are dismissed if you must go.
Otherwise, stay and help just by praying that we bring more of the unsaved into
our Ministry. We need the hurt, the suffering, the mistreated, the misguided,
the outcasts, the souls to save for all of eternity! The Lord Jesus accepts you who you are, as you are, with the same amount of love as He has for everyone else. Let us Remember Him, as we worship Him out of respect, which then leads to the Communion. Responding to His invitation makes the blood and blood of Jesus course through our veins, making us new again. Praise the Lord!
