by Rev. Margaret Aranda, MD, Ph.D.

WELCOME to our non-denominational ministry; today we use the New American Standard version of the Bible. Many of us are disabled, house-bound, alone, lost, or forgotten due to an illness or diagnosis that leaves us handicapped.  Thank you, God, for Your Word today as we discuss “Healing,” for we suffer not only the pain and the disease, but the loss of friends and family, spouses, visitors, and become isolated to the outside world.  We ask for healing of all these things, dear Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. AND we already have one testimony of healing amongst ourselves. Amen!

We will take Holy Communion today, in Remembrance of Christ's death for our sins. Please have unleavened bread or regular bread or tortillas ready; please also have red wine, red grape juice, or water ready.

For my general You Tube video on Christ’s Holy Communion see: Sermon on Holy Communion

For my You Tube video that goes through Holy Communion Scripture by Scripture and in detail, see Scriptures for Holy Communion.

You may gather bread (matza, bread, tortillas, etc.) and wine (red wine, red grapejuice, water, or any liquid) now and have it at your table or bedside, as we will ALL PARTAKE TOGETHER as we meet together IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIM. Amen!  Our God has just begun to work in us! Amen!  Let us listen to the Word of God:

MATTHEW 4: 23-24

23:  And Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among them.

24: And the news about Him went out into all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, taken with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He Healed them.

Let us start to think and believe in God’s healing power, in Jesus as the Great Physician, and in how our breath, our pain, our trials, cannot take our eyes off of Jesus.

Whatever is left of me, it is where GLORY has collided with my suffering. I fall into the arms of Jesus. I open my eyes and live for Him all day, every day.  I’m alive!

Even though part of my body has died, the Lord has taken what is left and He has provided my Path. He will do the same for you. All you have to do is ask in His name. Amen.

He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to His commands, and keep all of His decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, Who heals you.”  ~Exodus 15:26

HOLY COMMUNION: Before we partake in Holy Communion, we assure that we are:
(1)        Born Again, and that
(2)        We harbor no ill feelings towards another (i.e., we have forgiven);
(3)        We plan to be Baptized in Water by immersion, as we die to ourselves while under the water, and become alive to Christ as we are raised from the water to breathe anew. We tell someone of this new life, to solidify and seal our fate as a Christian.
Please listen to the upcoming song, and gather together your bread and wine, as the body and blood of Christ, which He asked us to do when we gather in His name. We do this in remembrance of Him. Go ahead and gather your items now.

The Bible is filled with readings on the Healing of sickness, blindness, lameness, leprosy, a woman with a bleeding problem, and Lazarus, who died. These are but a few examples. Here is a powerful list of references* to healing:

It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones.

Therefore his calamity will come suddenly; Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing.

There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, But the tongue of the wise brings healing.

A wicked messenger falls into adversity, But a faithful envoy brings healing.

Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

The Lord will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the Lord, and He will respond to them and will heal them.

We waited for peace, but no good came; For a time of healing, but behold, terror!

My sorrow is beyond healing, My heart is faint within me!

Have You completely rejected Judah? Or have You loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that we are beyond healingWe waited for peace, but nothing good came; And for a time of healing, but behold, terror!

‘There is no one to plead your cause; No healing foryour sore, No recovery for you.

Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.

Go up to Gilead and obtain balm, O virgin daughter of Egypt! In vain have you multiplied remedies; There is no healing for you.

We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed; Forsake her and let us each go to his own country, For her judgment has reached to heaven And towers up to the very skies.

“Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, behold, it has not been bound up forhealing or wrapped with a bandage, that it may be strong to hold the sword.

By the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.”

“But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.

Ministry in Galilee ] Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

Miracles of Healing ] While He was saying these things to them, a synagogue official came and bowed down before Him, and said, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live.”

Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

Healing Crowds ] Departing from there, Jesus went along by the Sea of Galilee, and having gone up on the mountain, He was sitting there.

Miracles and Healing ] When Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him; and so He stayed by the seashore.

And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.

Healing at Gennesaret ] When they had crossed over they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore.

While the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them.

One day He was teaching; and there were somePharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea andfrom Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.

And all the people were trying to touch Him, for power was coming from Him and healing them all.
Miracles of Healing ] And as Jesus returned, the people welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him.

And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.

Departing, they began going throughout the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.

Healing on the Sabbath ] And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

Healing a Nobleman’s Son ] Therefore He came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a royal official whose son was sick at Capernaum.

The Healing at Bethesda ] After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Healing the Man Born Blind ] As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth.

Healing the Lame Beggar ] Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.

for the man was more than forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues.

All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they?

in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

* Reference:

Please notice the following:

1.   There were no occasions where Healing did not “work”
2.   Some instances drained Christ of His energy as people touched his clothing;
3.   * In a few instances, all that Christ had to do was “say the word” and not even be present in the vicinity of the sick person, and the Healing would occur;
4.   Many who believed told others, who told others, which made the crowds larger and larger.  The people still wanted Healing;
5.   Christ raised Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was probably smelly, wrapped in linen, and yet the family still called for Jesus;
6.   When Jesus saw Lazarus, Jesus wept. Don’t think for one moment that God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit do not have feelings. They hurt for our pain. They get no enjoyment over our illnesses. When people get Healed, they Praise the Lord, and they speak words of Praise, Worship, and Glory of Christ! They cannot contain themselves!
7.   Holy Communion has Healing power;
8.   The lack of taking Holy Communion is the reason why some of us are weak, sick, and sleep (i.e., die);
9.   There are certain leaves that bring healing, so God placed some flora here for our use.
10.                 Healing is freely available to those who ask and believe.
11.                 As we take Holy Communion today, and from this day forward, we will ask for healing as the body and blood of Jesus courses through our bodies.

As we prepare for DONATIONS, please relax and contemplate God’s goodness. I know there are many females that have suffered much, some since Childhood. I selected this song especially for them and for runaway teens, to say, “I’m sorry” and to say that all is not lost. Christ heals broken hearts, too, and no one has to stay broken.

PRAYER REQUESTS: We pray for Amy Coleman, Bob Coleman-Long, Noah Moretears, Kirstie, Helen Whitman Waltz, Larry Cooper, Steven Mwesigwa and the orphans and widows, Kirstie’s family, Dr. Allen Roberts, runaway teenagers, building an academic boarding school for these teens, and for all those who are sick, whether it is a need of the mind, body, or soul. Let us remain in Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

PRAYER REQUESTSLord, bless our homeless, our teens, our tweens, and give them safety, comfort, blankets, pillows, and full stomachs along with their knowledge in their hearts that they KNOW you know the number of hairs on their head. They are not alone. They have never been alone. Let that sink in, dear Lord. Give them hope, love, healing, rest, and your peace. Amen.

PRAISE REPORTS:  Dear Lord, thank you for all You are, for coming to earth to serve as a living sacrifice and die for our sin nature and our sins of the flesh, the sins of the love of money. And we glorify your name for making the Healing of illnesses, disabilities, and even death freely available to us.  Thank you, God, for healing broken hearts with your love that can never be taken from our children and our teens.

DONATIONS and NEEDS: Please go put money in your shoebox or jar, and get ready to send it as a tithe to Pastor Steven Mesigwa and the orphans. We wait for you as you give to bless.  It is my understanding that no one from this ministry has given any donations for the last two weeks, and this needs to change. Please. Now we can use PayPal through the email address: ___________________.

There is no doubt in my mind that we need to give the Lord our God 10% of what we make, in order to show Him our grace and thanks (See previous Sermon on theTithe).

We will also embark on donating to homeless teenagers in Los Angeles, to house, feed, and educate them to start off their lives with a technical trade and have one footstep upwards in the stairs of life. We only have one life to live, my brothers and sisters in Christ! Let us be robust and true, solid Christians!

1.   Be a Born Again Christian (stay at service’s end for this);
2.   Forgive if you have anything against anyone;

As Christ wanted us to do:
In Remembrance of His death.

Let us take Holy Communion together, after saying the Our Father, as Jesus told us to pray. The Our Father has every prayer in it that needs to be said before Holy Communion:

Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory.
Forever and ever. Amen.

TAKING THE BODY: We break off the bread, eat it as His Body, and remember His death for us. Amen. As we chew it and swallow it, it cleanses our bodies and our souls. (Eat the bread.)

TAKING THE BLOOD: We drink the wine that signifies His blood, for the shedding of all sins, as Christ died and took our place for us on The Cross. (Drink the wine.)

Thank You, Jesus!
You died for me! I remember you! Praise your Holy Name!

You may sit or kneel after taking Holy Communion, remembering Christ’s death for you. Christ does not want us to forget it. God is a forgiving God full of love and mercy for us, and He left the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus Christ, as the Way, the Truth, and the Light. Close your eyes and feel your body being rejuvenated by the Power of the Holy Spirit!

CLOSING PRAYER from Kirstie: Dear Lord, bow our heads and put our hands together today for all our sick family and the children in Africa and throughout the world who need You. We pray for all the children, men, women and elderly all over the world. Help us live to bring more souls to you!

In Jesus’ name we pray Amen!

DISMISSAL: You are dismissed if you must go. Otherwise, stay and help just by praying that we bring more of the unsaved into our Ministry. We need the disabled, the hurting, the suffering, the mistreated, the misguided, the outcasts, the souls to save for all of eternity! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Above All”
By Kaitlyn Maher

To be “born again,” please note the

1.   All have sinned. (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8)
2.   There is a penalty for sin (Romans 6:23; John 3:18)
3.   You cannot save yourself (Titus 3:5; James 2:10)
4.   Salvation has been provided (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; John 14:6)
5.   The conditions are simple:    A. Repent (Luke 13:3); B Confess (1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9); C. Believe (Acts 16:31)
6.   Now is your time for a Decision (Joshua 24:15; 2 Corinth 6:2)

Do you repent for your sins?
Do you confess your sins to the Lord?

Do you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, into your heart?
Tell someone! Confess it with your mouth! Then be baptized!
