Well,
have you ever thought about it? How are the disabled supposed to ‘gather
together’ if they can’t make it to a church or gathering? What about the lost
and forgotten? What about the teens who have no car? THIS is for YOU. And
everyone.

honor You as we keep You in our lives:
PRAYER
REQUEST:
For Kirstie, that she would be healed of her sickness, and that the doctors and
nurses would be enlightened as to her condition.

REQUEST:
First
and foremost in my soul is not just prayers for the African orphans of our
sister ministry with Pastor Steven Mwesigwa at Hope & Joy Ministries.
Let us to have FAITH that God will bless those who give. At
the time of DONATION, gather your change and bills into a jar or shoebox, keep
the music going, and pray all the way! Be a “DOER” of the Word!
THAT is what separates us from other ministries!

REQUEST:
Pastor
Steven Mwesigwa also asks we agree with him for protection against a “BISAKA
OWOBUSOBOZI” who calls himself God and “channels people to his evil work.” It
sounds like all fear this man, and Christ has already conquered the evil one! So when you pray morning and night, agree
with us together that his orphans have Angels protecting them always. Amen.
PRAYER
REQUEST:
Tamzin and her mother, they both continue to be in the
hospital. We pray for a kidney for donation, dear Lord. Amen.
PRAYER
REQUEST:
For
all our disabled and Chronically Ill FB friends, including: Helen Waltz, Tracy
Norton, Bob Coleman-Long, Amy Cole. Help us to know that we are just on earth
as in a “hotel” and that our real home is in Heaven. Help them to bear their
own Cross, as Christ did for us. Help them to die to themselves and become
alive to Christ. And finally, help them to accept healing, and then to go
proclaim Your Love to the world!

We ask for special
blessings for those who are searching for a job, or a raise, or a better economic
position.
PRAYER
REQUEST: That we continue to grow, multiply, love, spread
peace, clothe the poor, feed our orphans and
widows, and serve you, Lord.

unashamedly and wholeheartedly PRAISE & WORSHIP God today! Let Jesus be
exalted as we lift our voices to give Him our lives, our souls, and all the
Praises and adoration He deserves.

SCRIPTURE: John
6:60-71
Title: “The Two-Package Deal”
60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, “This is a difficult statement;
who can listen to it?”
61 But Jesus, conscious
that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble?
62 What then if you see the Son of
Man ascending to where He was
before?
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you
are spirit and are life.
64 But there are some of you who do not
believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were
who did not believe, and who it
was that would betray Him.
65 And He was saying, “For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted
him from the Father.”
66 As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him
anymore.
67 So Jesus said to the
twelve, “You do
not want to go away also, do you?”
68 Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.
69 We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God.”
70 Jesus answered them, “Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is a devil?”
71 Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him.
DISCUSSION:
At
first, there were “many” disciples (verses 60 – 63). Christ speaks of the
majority of them, who were “stumbling” and “grumbling,” = questioning His word.
He
elevates the spirituality of the scenario, going from Holy Communion and eating
His Body & drinking His Blood, to:
His
ascension into Heaven;
His
Words giving spirit and life;
And
knowing that some would not believe (verse 64), as well as who would ultimately
betray Him.
Verse
65, I believe, is the most important verse in this cluster. “No one can go to
Me unless it has been granted to Him by the Father.”
“We
know there are many, many scriptures saying that The Way to God is through His
Son.”
“If
we deny Christ, He will deny us before God.”
“No
one goes to the Father except he be born again through the Son.”
Even
on TV, The Bachelorette Show, the main lady said she was “A Two-Package Deal”
together with her son:
“If
a man wants me, he has to accept my son, too. We are a Two-Packaged Deal.”
We
know this, and we feel this in the carnal world. How much more should God feel
this, when He sent His Son to be
brutally whipped, hung on a cross, humiliated and carry our sins for us?
Verses
66 – 69: Sounds like a bunch of men got up and walked out, never to be seen
again. Jesus then made sure that the 12 still wanted to follow him, reaffirming
their faith in Him. They had to say it with THEIR mouths.
Peter
said with a shrug and his hands out, worried expression on his face (I can imagine),
“Where else can we go? We believe in YOU, Lord, for YOU are Eternal Life.” To
the 12, there was NO WHERE else to go. No one else to follow. No place else
they would rather be.
And
Christ speaks His own confusion or fact aloud, stating that He chose the 12,
yet one was a “DEVIL” who would betray Him. So DEVILS existed, yes? He called
it like it was.
This
is the Word of God.

INVITATION AND RENEWAL PRAYER: Do you want to accept Christ as your
personal Savior?
If
you have not yet said this prayer ALOUD to accept Jesus as your Lord and
Personal Savior, you can do so now: “Lord, I have not accepted You fully into
my heart, or I did once long ago, and have strayed. I ask that you forgive my
sins, enter my heart, and stay with me forevermore. I thank you that by grace
alone, and your death on the cross, I can enter Heaven to be together with
you.”
If
you have said this prayer in earnest, please stay after the service for Counsel
and make sure we get a Mentor for you, so that we can disciple you from a
‘baby’ Christian to a ‘fully-grown’ Christian who is then able to lead. We then
go out to all ends of the earth, spreading the Gospel or supporting those that
do so. Amen!
PREPARATION FOR HOLY COMMUNION: Until I studied it myself, I did not realize how
seriously God judges us for taking Holy Communion. It is Holy.
We are not to take it if we
are sinning, or it is blasphemy against OURSELVES and the Lord. I encourage you
not to take Holy Communion until

Let us take Holy Communion together, after saying the Our
Father, as Jesus told us to pray

Gather your bread and wine for Holy Communion.

TOGETHER WE PARTAKE IN HOLY COMMUNION:
We proceed with Holy
Communion, in Remembrance of Christ’s death:
TAKING THE
BODY: We break off the
bread, eat it as His Body, and remember His death for us. Amen. As we chew it
and swallow it, it cleanses our bodies and our souls. (Eat the bread.)
TAKING THE
BLOOD: We drink the wine
that signifies His blood, for the shedding of all sins, as Christ died and took
our place for us on The Cross. (Drink the wine.)
You may sit or kneel after
taking Holy Communion, remembering Christ’s death for you. Christ does not want
us to forget it.

CLOSING PRAYER BY KIRSTIE: Dear Lord, we bow our heads today in silence
and in remembrance of those who have lost their lives, we pray for there loved
ones to have NO MORE TEARS for now their loved ones are at peace in heaven. We
pray for the many elderly men and women who are critical and for the children
and young adults that are critically ill in hospital, make your light shine
upon them with the healing they all need. In Jesus name, we pray Amen!
