we are not just “listeners,” but “doers” of The Word.

THIS
IS A READING, ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES
37 Now
on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried
out, saying, “If
anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.
38 He who
believes in Me, as the Scripture
said, ‘From his innermost being
will flow rivers of living
water.’”
39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed
in Him were to receive; for the
Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet
glorified.
40 Some of the people therefore, when they
heard these words, were saying, “This certainly is the Prophet.”
41 Others were saying,
“This is the Christ.” Still
others were saying, “Surely the
Christ is not going to come from Galilee, is He?
42 Has not
the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the descendants of David, and
from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”
43 So a division occurred in the crowd
because of Him.
44 Some of them wanted
to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him.
45 The officers then came to the chief
priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why did you not bring Him?”
46 The officers answered, “Never has a man
spoken the way this man speaks.”
47 The Pharisees then
answered them, “You have not also been led astray, have you?
48 No one of the
rulers or Pharisees has believed in Him, has he?
49 But this crowd
which does not know the Law is accursed.”
50 Nicodemus (he who
came to Him before, being one of them) said to them,
51 “Our Law does not
judge a man unless it first hears from him and knows what he is doing, does
it?”
52 They answered him,
“You are not also from Galilee, are you? Search, and see that no prophet arises
out of Galilee.”
THIS IS
THE WORD OF THE LORD.
Let us humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, so that He
teaches us.

DISCUSSION:
Verses
37 – 44: What do you think is going on here? In previous Bible
Studies, we learned that God has His own Timing. Several times, as with “the
water turning into wine Miracle,” Jesus had said, “It is not my time.” Last
week, he said that too, not wanting to travel with his brothers to the Feast.
Now, He used the back alleys, so to speak, and not only went
into the city, but Preached in the Temple! And what is happening? The people
are mumbling amongst themselves as to his birthplace, and whether or not He is
the Christ that was fortold in the Old Testament. They are inciting a great
argument, and I’m sure that it is getting louder and louder!
Verses
44 – 49: Little “Tattle-Tales,” the officers, then went to the
Pharisees, religious leaders who thought that Christ could not possibly know
more than they did about God. The Pharisees jumped on the officers, accusing
them of being weak. And they went further. ““You have not also been led
astray, have you?...” They turned the tables on the officers. How do you think
that the officers felt now, as they stood before the Pharisees?
Again the Pharisees, in Verse 49, put themselves up on a
pedestal, “above” the people, saying, “...But this crowd which does not know
the Law is accursed.” So only the
Pharisees, who “knew the Law” had the wherewithal or the authority to interpret
Christ’s words? What do you think of this answer?
The Pharisees were pompous. “Mightier than thou.”
Untouchable. Oh, “you are all just minions and you don’t have brains to think.
We know the Law, and we know more than you do, so you will never understand how
much we know.” They put the people down, using own God’s Word against them.
Verses
50 – 51: Nicodemus, who had spoken with the Pharisees before, approached them
here as an intervention. He intervenes on behalf of their general rule: “Our Law does not judge a man unless it first hears from
him and knows what he is doing, does it?”
Verse
52: What
is the reply of the Pharisees? “You are not also from
Galilee, are you?
The evil one has stepped in and made them paranoid of
everyone, searching for someone’s blood, determined to find a guilty person to
kill. It is here, I believe that the death of Christ was fully determined. And
I also believe that Christ knew it, he allowed it to happen, and He knew that
it was God’s timing. He Himself incited the crowd. Amen.
So what do we learn from today’s Scriptures?
That even during the storms, even through the mire and the quicksand and
the challenges of life, God has a Plan. You do not exist in an ecosystem by
yourself. All that happens around you is for a reason, and it all is meant to
lead you to God. Why? Because He wants you to be a child of His, through His
Son, Jesus Christ.
Some of you are stricken with bad colds, the flu, or worse. Some have
debilitating illnesses that we prayed for last week. Now we ask for the Healing
Power of The Great Physician, Jesus, to reign freely in our bodies, minds, and
souls.

LET
US PRAY:
For
Chris, Helen Waltz Whitman, Bob Long-Coleman, Tracy Norton, Bob Coleman-Long,
Amy Coleman, MaryAnn Gray, Jenn Waters, Deb Townalini, and all others who
suffer chronic pain or illness. Help us to know that our sufferings can be used
to solidify and firmly stand our place in FAITH with you over time, Dear Lord. Let
us wait upon your TIME, when the outpourings shall occur.
MY
PERSONAL TESTIMONY:
Lord, help us to take you at Your Word, even if we do not
fully comprehend it. As Christ laid His hands on the people and healed them, He
also said that we would do the same for us.
“You Raise Me Up”
Let us do this, so that all things that you predicted shall
come to pass. I
am going to ask for EACH ONE of you to either put your hand on the screen or to
lay hands upon yourself. Then, either to pray for someone else's healing, or
for your own healing.
Let the people use their faith as they lay hands on the themselves
or the screen, and receive or pray for healing:
“Father God, Your Word says, “By His stripes, we were
healed.” Christ took on the severe, bloody scourging on his back, for our sins.
He freed us from our sins and iniquities, OUR SICKNESSES, by taking on these lashings
for us, forevermore.”
“Thank you, Jesus, as we now proclaim ourselves as accepting
what Christ did for us. We touch the screen and pray for healing in our bodies,
healing that only you can provide.” (We pray and ask only one time.)
(From then on, we thank God and Glorify Him) We thank you,
Lord! We Praise Your Holy Name! We Glorify Your Name above all Names! Thank you
for “by Your stripes, we were healed!” Thank you for healing my disease!”
Say, “Thank you for my continued healing, day by day,
perfection upon perfection! In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

The Pharisees had no idea Who Christ was. Who was He? Who is He
now?

“Lord,
I have not accepted You fully into my heart, or I did once long ago, and have
strayed. I ask that you forgive my sins, enter my heart, and stay with me
forevermore as my Personal Lord and Savior. I thank you that by grace alone,
and your death on the cross, I can enter Heaven to be together forever with
you.”
If
you have said this prayer in earnest, please let us know, so we get a Mentor
for you, so that we can disciple you from a ‘baby’ Christian to a ‘fully-grown’
Christian who is then able to lead. We then go out to all ends of the earth,
spreading the Gospel or supporting those that do so. Amen!
PREPARATION FOR HOLY
COMMUNION: Until I
studied it myself, I did not realize how seriously God judges us for taking
Holy Communion. If you do not take it
correctly, this may be why you are weak,
sick, or sleeping (die).
It is
Holy. We are not to take it if we are sinning, or it is blasphemy against
yourself, and the Lord. Just sit it out instead.

TOGETHER WE PARTAKE IN HOLY
COMMUNION:
TAKING THE BODY: We break off the bread, eat it as His Body, and
remember His Death for us. Amen. As we chew it and swallow it, it cleanses our
bodies and renews our spirits.
“This
is the body of Christ, in remembrance of His death, as He was beaten and
scourged, humiliated, and walked up the mountain to be nailed on the Cross with
a crown of thorns.”
It
will course through all your veins, as all food does, to fill your inner body
with energy and strength. “Let it be so.” (EAT THE BREAD).
TAKING THE BLOOD: We sip the wine, drinking it as His blood, remembering
His Death for us. Amen. As we swallow, it cleanses our bodies and renews our
spirits. (Hold it up in the air) Say
aloud:
“This
is the blood of Christ, in remembrance of His death, as it was shed for all men
and women, so He stood in our place for forgiveness of all sins.” (DRINK THE WINE.)
It
will course through all your veins, as all food does, to fill your inner body
with energy and strength. “Let it be so.”
Sit or
kneel prayerfully after taking Holy Communion, remembering Christ’s death for us.
Christ does not want us to forget it.

the orphans. We are their hands ~ we are their parents ~ we are THEIR ANSWER TO
PRAYER ~ ~ ~ ! And God is sending MORE orphans to us! AMEN! HOW BLESSED WE ARE!
Search for the Lord's ways!
Run for God's heart! Who knows that your soul BURNS FOR THE LORD? What are you
doing to show it?
Do you BURN for the Lord?
Can you restore it?
Reach into your heart and
bring GOD outside of yourself to SHOW IT TO OTHERS!

CLOSING PRAYER BY KIRSTIE: Dear Lord, we bow our heads today to ask you
to keep your angels looking over all of the many men, women and children in the
world at their moment of need. We ask that your angels guide us through our
illnesses and bring us hope when we fear there is no hope left for us to carry
on. We ask your angels to help us find the strength, love and courage to carry
on living our lives today till we come into the hands of the Lord himself. Help
us find a miracle with the angel's you send to us. Lord we ask you to watch
over our loved ones while they sleep so soundly so they can wake up and see
another day. Thank you for your Angel's and Miracles, Lord. In Jesus’ Name We
