Isaiah 40:31 "....but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

What was that Scripture verse again? Come back often, and memorize it. No matter what your issue is, this is a verse of comfort, encouragement, uplifting, and success in Christ!

WELCOME TO BIBLE STUDY! This format is different today, as the Holy Spirit leads me to teach YOU how to keep yourself inspired by Walking in the Holy Spirit every second of every day. Amen. This means that you have to watch each and every single word that comes out of your mouth. God created the earth with HIS WORD. Jesus healed the sick with HIS WORD. Jesus completed His mission on the Cross by SAYING OUT LOUD, "It is done." We MUST use our Spoken Words, our Sword of the Spirit, to walk the way that God wants us to walk.

Do you know how much POWER there is in the Name of "JESUS?" Do you know how much the devil and evil spirits CRINGE at that name?

Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for your Power and your Glory. Show us how to die to ourselves and become Alive to You, to Walk and Live and Talk and Behave as YOU want us to do as humble servants. Think of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Do you think she had one inkling of what she was getting herself into? In the SAME WAY, WE have NO inkling of the MIGHT and POWER of what Christ completed for us. God wants you to speak THE WORD OF GOD ALL the time. Let us pray. God, please use us in Your Ways, for Your Purposes, in whatever You need:

God should be with us everywhere, even in the grocery store, the parking lot, inside our homes, and we should be singing to HIM that he CAN USE US like a shelter in the desert. PRAYER REQUESTS: That you forgive us all, Lord, and renew us to serve You. Bring us closer to you. Let us learn your WORD, and let us USE IT without shame or embarrassment. We also pray for all the sick, the tormented, the depressed, the suicidal, the financially strapped, and those with relationship problems. Cast away all their issues, Lord, and let us continue to sing praises and thrust our SWORD OF THE SPIRIT at the evil forces. Thank you for leaving us with a mighty weapon.

Let us now learn how God has left us, when Christ ascended into Heaven.

Jesus did not want to leave us alone. Who did He leave with us as a Comforter, to guide us?

The Holy Spirit.

How does the Holy Spirit talk to us?

In a still, small voice. A wind.

SERMON: USING YOUR SWORD

I posted all the "Defensive" warrior armor that God gave us to wear. What do we have?

Let's start from top to bottom: The Helmet of Salvation

The Breastplate of Righteousness.

Our loins girded with ______.

The Belt of Truth

The Shield of Faith.

The Sandals of the Gospel of Peace.

And I think that is all.

But wait!

What are we supposed to use to fight with?

What is our OFFENSIVE weapon?

The SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the.....

Word of God.

How BIG is your Sword? How SHARP is it? What have you been doing instead of fighting the powers of darkness and principalities that we wrestle with? Do you realize that our "problems" are not with flesh and blood? Do you KNOW that we are in a SPIRITUAL WARFARE UNTIL DEATH?

I don't like it any more than you do. But it is what it is. And by golly, if I can make my Sword SHARP and BIG and DANGEROUS, guess who will stay away from me? The evil spirits, the dark forces. If I see them, I will cut sharper than any two-edged Sword.

That is the promise of the Bible.

So let's start SHARPENING our SWORDS.

This is the very FIRST VERSE I would like you to commit to memory. It covers a lot of issues and problems, and it is very inspirational. Isaiah 40:31 "....but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

So what do you SAY OUT LOUD when you are hopeless?

How about you? I totally LOVE the thought of "renewing my strength!"

Give it to me! Amen!

So you just got told that your car crashed, that your money investment went down a hole, that you are evicted from your apartment, AND your monthly checks will stop if you don't submit paperwork by yesterday. WHAT DO YOU SAY? WHAT DO YOU DO? Are you going to sit on the floor and cry? NOOOO! May it never be! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SAY?

Can't you feel the strength already?

I want you to OPEN YOUR MOUTHS and SPEAK THESE WORDS with AUTHORITY into your present situation, no matter what it is.

Say it again. Louder. I DID NOT HEAR YOU!

If you open your refrigerator and see little food and your paycheck is still coming in for four more days, what do you say?

Do you HOPE in the Lord? Do you still have SOME hope?

Nothing is hopeless. No one is hopeless.

Adding God + hopelessness = ?

BUT.... Adding God + HOPE =

Strength, soaring, running, and standing strong!!!!

And what do you SAY OUT LOUD so I can hear it?

"...those who HOPE in the Lord will RENEW their STRENGTH. They will SOAR on wings like EAGLES; they will RUN and NOT grow weary, they will WALK and not be FAINT." Isaiah 40:31

HOPE. It all starts with HOPE. Don't let anyone take your hope away. Just look at them and say, "You don't EVEN know me." You build and grow your HOPE in the Lord by trusting in HIS WORD. And every time you do it, your SWORD GETS SHARPER.

This is the Word of the Lord, which is our Sword of the Spirit.

HOLY COMMUNION:

Please go get a piece of bread and a touch of wine, juice, or water.

You must be "saved" and have already accepted Christ as your Personal Savior. You must have asked God to forgive all your sins. You must pray for your enemies. You will be judged as you judge. God uses HOLY Communion so that we are not "weak, sick, or sleeping (dying)."

Hold up the bread. "In remembrance of you, dear Lord, we remember your death as we eat your body. Amen. " Then eat.

Hold up the wine. "In remembrance of you, dear Lord, we remember your death as we drink your precious blood. Amen. " Then drink.

Just as all food and nutrition courses through your bloodstream, so too will the body and blood of Christ.

CONCLUDING THOUGHT: Your body is holy. You walk in the Holy Spirit. You stay in the Spirit by fighting with your Sword of the Spirit. Think in the Spirit. Talk in the Spirit. We are not of this world. We are in it. We need to save more souls. Is there anyone here who has not accepted Jesus as their personal Savior?

We need to follow the Great Commission and go stand on the street corner with our Bibles, if that's what we need to do. We need to bring the Sick here so we can pray for them and ask God for healing.

HEALING SERVICE: Place your hand on the screen of your laptop or phone, and pray. For those who are well, pray that the Holy Spirit works through you to pass Healing Power to the sick.

For those of you who are sick, place your hand on the screen and pray that the Holy Spirit moves into you, to pass His healing power to you. Accept it by faith. Go Praise God for your Healing. Say nothing more of your sickness. Use your Sword! "By His stripes, we were healed." Jesus took scourgings on His back to bear all of our sins, our iniquities, and our sicknesses. Use your FAITH muscles. They are tiny and unused at first. Keep using them! Amen.

DISMISSAL PRAYER: Thank you, Lord for opening the door to the wisdom of Your ways. Cleanse us, forgive us, work within us, and continue to break us and mold us in Your ways. Let us die to ourselves more and more each day, and become surrendered and ALIVE to YOU, sweet Jesus. Let us Stand Our Ground with the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and thank you for leaving us with this powerful tool. In Jesus' name, Amen.

When we see you in heaven, Lord God, let us be one to whom you can say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." When we see you in heaven, we can only imagine what it will be like, but thank you for loving us, and for caring for those who have gone before us:
