My first Children's Book that teaches children to open their world up to the wonders of the outdoors, too! And not all bugs are bad! Especially promising for a Ladybug Birthday Party, this makes a great Book Reading for all the little toddlers or Pre-Schoolers. Unique, fun, entertaining, and educational!

You can have:

* Everyone wear black and red
* Make headbands for those who didn't follow the above, with black antennae (Ha!)
* Make a red velvet ladybug cake in a large tin bowl; just cook a little longer and make sure toothpick
comes out clean in the middle!
* Use Oreo cookies for the black spots
* Serve the cake on a bed of lettuce with red sprinkles
* Buy a tupperware of real ladybugs from your local nursery, and release them at night. They will eat all those aphids on your roses, and a daring/delightful grown-up can even have them unleashed all over him or her! Oh Ha!Ha! She giggles as they tickle all over, and they beautifully fly away, so gently blowing in the breeze.
* Great first Biology lesson! Education is supposed to be fun!

And the kids watch as Little Missy Two-Shoes goes through a transition not only to not be scared of ladybugs, but to become a part of their world, too. She learns about a whole different world out there, and begins to appreciate that new things, new experiences, can be fun and not scary, after all!
